ATHOL — The generosity continues as more donations arrive from kind-hearted residents for the Athol Daily News Santa Fund. Today, contributions totaling $250 were received, which bump up the running total to $12,985, just $515 away from this year’s target goal! Santa has made his deliveries to many area boys and girls, but is right back to planning for next year’s run, thanks to the many people who gave to this year’s campaign.
Recent donations were received from: Daniel & Kate Hickey $75, and DBA Silhouettes $75; Dick & Gini In Memory of David Adams $50; Carl Larson In Memory of David Adams $50.
Donations will be accepted through the end of the year, and may be sent to the Athol Daily News Santa Fund, P.O. Box 1000, Athol, MA 01331, or dropped off at the business office at 225 Exchange St. Donations may also be made anonymously, or in memory of a loved one.
