The Mahar and Athol indoor track teams met at Smith College in Northampton for a league match Friday afternoon.
The Mahar girls defeated Athol, 72-23.
Chloe Taddeo had the best throw in the shot put (29 feet, 5 inches) against Athol as well as the field for the Senators.
Kamryn Reilly had first place finishes in the 55-meter dash (7.94) and the high jump (4-11)
Caroline Chase took home a win in the 600-meter run (1:54.80) for the Senators. Carra Fitzgerald was a winner in the 1,000 (3:32.73).
Anna Wetherbee placed first in the long jump (15-8).
The 4×200 relay team consisting of Reilly, Chase, Wetherbee and Carissa Johnson broke a school record (2:00.67) for Mahar.
Grace Dufour scored for the Red Raiders in the 300, finishing first (47.21).
The Athol boys took down Mahar, 77-17.
Mason Barrieau got first place in the 55 dash (7.20) for Athol.
Barrieau also won the mile (5:12.16), beating out Mahar’s Liam O’Donnell (5:17.73).
Parker Deleo won in the 300 (42.07) while Dennis St. Jean brought home the win over Mahar in the 600 (1:37.41).
St. Jean won the 2-mile (11:10.44) as well, beating O’Donnell by 11 seconds.
Colby Hume won the shot put (28-8.75) for Athol
Anthony Marcucci scored for Athol in the 1,000 (3:00.21).
At the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston on Saturday, Rashelly Dalmua-Gonzalez tied for 20th out of 60 competitors in the shot put for Athol.
The throw (25-7.25) for Dalmua-Gonzalez was a personal best.
The sophomore started throwing this season for the Red Raiders.
