Kamryn Reilly, Anna Wetherbee and Grace Rich took home the championship in the girls long jump for the Mahar girls indoor track team at the Indoor Relays in Boston on Friday.
The Senators won with a combined score of 45 feet, 5.25 inches.
Caroline Chase, Rich, Emma Savoy and Carra Fitzgerald set a school record in the 4×400 relay where the Senators placed 15th (4 minutes, 40.02 seconds) overall.
There was another school record broken in the sprint medley where Fitzgerald, Reilly, Wetherbee and Chase placed fourth (4:34.19)
Aileen Fitzgerald, Reilly and Wetherbee were second place overall in the high jump (13-9).
The Senators placed fourth overall with 21 points. First place Amesbury had 36 points.
Athol 94, Hampden Charter 0; Athol 58, Pope Francis 37; Athol 66, Southwick 28 — The Athol boys team stayed perfect with three wins on Friday night at Smith College.
Barrieau swept first place in the 300-meter run (38.67), the 55-meter hurdles (9.33) and the long jump (18-11) for the Red Raiders (5-0).
Barrieau (7.30) missed first place in the 55-meter dash to Southwick’s Nicholas Malouin (7.30) but did beat out Hampden Charter and Pope Francis in the event.
Colby Soltysik swept first (1:42.16) in the 600-meter run.
Dennis St. Jean was first (2:58.25) in the 1,000-meter run and the mile (5:06.64) against each opponent. St. Jean had two more first place finishes in the two-mile (11:07.76) against Hampden Charter and Southwick.
Athol 48, Pope Francis 42; Southwick 69, Athol 25; Hampden Charter 43, Athol 43 — The Red Raider girls team came away from Northampton win a win, a loss and a tie.
Grace Dufour swept three first place finishes (3:37.11) for the Red Raiders in the 1,000-meter run. Dufour also placed first (14-2) in the long jump against Hampden Charter and Pope Francis.
Rashelly Dalmau-Gonzalez placed first in the shot put (27-5) against Pope Francis.
Shelby Mailloux took first (1:58.36) in the 600-meter run against Southwick for Athol (2-2-1).
Mailloux got two more first place finishes in the high jump (4-2) against Hampden Charter and Pope Francis.
