The Athol boys basketball team lost its sixth straight game, falling to Lee High School, 57-54, on the road on Saturday.
The Red Raiders (2-8) had a 30-22 halftime lead before a comeback from the Wildcats in the third quarter.
Lee outscored Athol 22-10 in the third.
Mark Ferrari scored 22 points for Athol, with Nick Bousquet adding 10 points including two 3-pointers.
Bryce King chipped in with nine points for Athol. The Red Raiders play Turners Falls at home on Thursday.
Dracut 63, Mahar 18; Boston College 57, Mahar 21; Westford Academy 53, Mahar 25; Windham 42, Mahar 24 — Todd Chiasson got multiple individual wins for the Senators at the Midland Duals at Quabbin Regional High School in Barre on Saturday.
Chiasson beat Westford’s Rory Sullivan’s by fall (2:29).
Chiasson also pinned Windham’s Max Spencer (4:32) as well as Boston College’s Jude Littrell (2:20).
Dracut 60, Athol 3; Windham 66, Athol 11; King Phillip 72, Athol 9; Quabbin 44, Athol 18 — The Red Raiders could not pick up a team win at the Midland Duals.
Chris Waslaske suffered his first loss of the season to Quabbin’s Sam Ware. Waslaske moved up a weight class to 195 to face the defending Division 3 state champion.
Waslaske lost a 14-4 decision.
Waslaske won all three of his matches at wrestling at 182 pounds against Dracut, King Phillip and Windham.
Sawyer Lefsyk, a sixth grader, won his first ever match at 126 pounds for the Red Raiders.
