The Mahar boys basketball team lost to Belchertown High School, 60-56, on Friday night in Orange.
The Senators honored the lone senior on the team, Jordan Desrosiers, on senior night.
“Jordan has given us a lot this year and it’s nice to see him finally having some success after the injuries,” Mahar coach Chad Softic said. “We hope he goes out strong.”
Desrosiers scored five points with a 3-pointer for Mahar.
The Senators (13-5, 3-3 Hampshire South) got 14 points and 12 rebounds from Ely Gonzalez.
Jakob Carron added 13 for Mahar.
Brothers Jordan Lanoue (18 points) and Corey Lanoue (19) were both in double-figures for the Orioles (7-11, 1-5).
Corey Lanoue made three 3-pointers for Belchertown.
