ATHOL — Have you ever heard a tune that brought back a memory? Perhaps it got your feet tapping, and you remembered a special time as though it were yesterday.
Local radio station WVAO 105.9 FM has lots of music that might bring back those magical memories.
Buddy Oborne, local WVAO 105.9 FM radio host on “Buddy’s Big Band Blast,” will join co-host Bonnie Benjamin on March 5 at the Athol Senior Center with lots of music from the 30s, 40s and 50s designed to bring those special memories back to life again. Record your memory with Buddy and Bonnie and you may hear it on a future episode of “Buddy’s Big Band Blast”!
The music and anonymous memory may help to bring a special moment to mind for someone else too. The pair will be at the Athol Senior Center, 82 Freedom St., from 10:30 to noon.
