8:48 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main Street at Bearsden Road due to registered owner having a suspended license. Operator at the time of stop found to have active license.
8:54 a.m. — Maple Street party calling to report his neighbors dogs do not stop barking all day. Animal Control Officer notified.
10:39 a.m. — 911 call, New Athol Road. Officer spoke with store manager who in turn spoke with staff, who state no 911 call was placed.
10:42 a.m. — Welfare check requested, Crescent Street. Parties reporting they received text messages from female who has a knife and possibly cutting herself. Ambulance requested for an evaluation. Party transported to Athol Hospital.
11:05 a.m. — Laurel Street party calling to report he has multiple DVDs missing. Called back to say he located them.
12:16 p.m. — Assisted other agency, Coolidge Street. Looking for a vehicle with a specific license plate on it. Supposed to be on a model T, parking ticket for Honda. Officer states nothing in the driveway with that plate, but homeowner is known to sell used cars.
12:52 p.m. — Motor vehicle complaint, Main Street. Vehicle blocking the drive thru. Owner located and vehicle moved.
1:49 p.m. — Report of drug activity in vehicle, Gibson Drive. Gone on arrival.
2:08 p.m. — Report of three needles on lawn of church, Main Street. Officer recovered and disposed of same.
2:11 p.m. — Medical emergency, Main Street. Staff from high school states student having a seizure in the classroom. No further information on patient. Caller states to use the rear entrance of high school. Assisted fire department.
2:31 p.m. — Main Street store calling for possible drug activity outside to the right of the building in a red van. Officer spoke with manager. Parties left prior to arrival; operator of vehicle involved spoken to and advised of complaint.
2:35 p.m. — Pleasant Street caller states there is an ongoing issue with people traveling at high rates of speed through the school zone at this time of day.
3:12 p.m. — Bearsden Road caller states a group of protestors are starting to cause an issue and refusing to leave after being asked multiple times. Officer spoke with member of Western Mass Animal Save, confirmed peaceful protest.
3:21 p.m. — Vehicles operated by Philip A. Peduzzi, Holly Avenue, Northfield, and Ryan L. Berthiaume, Cottage Street, Athol, were in collision on Main Street. Peduzzi was stopped in traffic when the Berthiaume vehicle did not stop and collided with the rear of Peduzzi. Berthiaume called Jim’s Auto for the tow.
3:34 p.m. — Winthrop Street caller states debit card was stolen and put back but whoever took it kept the numbers and made transactions at Western Union. Report taken.
4:16 p.m. — Officer spoke with Wellington Street party who stated she hurt her back the other day and went to Athol Hospital by ambulance. Caller was worried that she would not be able to get back to the hospital again because her daughter had taken her car away from her weeks prior. Officer advised her to call 911 and an ambulance would take her to the hospital.
4:19 p.m. — 911 call. Ambulance responded to Main Street for male party who took too much of his medication. CSO was speaking with him on the phone and he had slurred speech.
4:48 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Warning issued for defective brake light.
5:38 p.m. — Pequoig Avenue, caller reporting being verbally accosted by unknown male subject.
6:06 p.m. — Citation issued to motorist for speeding and inspection sticker past due, Daniel Shays Highway.
6:18 p.m. — Disturbance, Silver Lake Street. Caller states 17-year-old female attacked her; three kids on scene. No weapons. Caller is in the bedroom with kids, attacker being restrained by male party in the kitchen. Requested ambulance, female party bleeding from the face. Officer will file 51A regarding the incident.
6:27 p.m. — Director of nurses calling to speak to an officer regarding a report from a patient, Daniel Shays Highway.
6:28 p.m. — Allen Street caller states there is damage to his car. Officer spoke with caller; no proof of damage caused by tenant.
6:47 p.m. — Main Street, suspicious vehicle. Caller states there is a vehicle out front and the door was wide open and a purse inside. No number for owner of vehicle. Caller was advised to shut and lock the door and officers would attempt to make contact. Note left on vehicle to call Athol Police.
9:14 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Written warning for speed.
9:23 p.m. — Breaking and entering, South Street; past incident. Officer took report.
9:28 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Warning issued for speed.
1:53 a.m. — Medical emergency, Concord Street. Transported party with infected foot to Athol Hospital.
2:33 a.m. — Report of vehicle parked behind the library, Main Street. Operator states she was recharging her vehicle battery. All secure.
3:09 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Crescent Street. Operator issued warning for defective equipment (left tail light out).
3:43 a.m. — Winter parking ban tickets issued: Simonds, Union, Lincoln and Maple streets; and Ridge Avenue.
5:12 a.m. — Warning issued for speeding, South Main Street.
5:31 a.m. — Citation issued for speeding, Main Street at Canal.
8:22 a.m. — Alarm company reporting alarm going off, front office motion, Main Street. Found to be a large plant moving from the forced hot air heating system.
9:20 a.m. — Motorist was issued a warning for impeded operation (cell phone), Main Street.
9:59 a.m. — Warning issued for speeding, Pleasant Street.
10:18 a.m. — Ticket issued for parking in restricted area (bus stop), Market Basket parking lot.
10:43 a.m. — Motorist stopped, South Main Street. Warning for loud exhaust.
10:50 a.m. — Walk-in reported someone going through the dumpster at their business. Officer out to South Main Street to speak to male party; advised to stay out of the dumpsters.
Noon — Motor vehicle accident, Tower Road, involving vehicles operated by Christopher J. Watkins, Lenox Street, Athol and Judith A. Paine, Partridge Street, Gardner.Watkins was reversing from his parking space; the second vehicle had gone beyond Watkins but then reversed after seeing an empty space. Both vehicles rear-ended each other . No injuries.
12:38 p.m. — Medical emergency, Church Street, for 14-year-old male who was sledding and hit his head on the swing set.
1:40 p.m. — Welfare check, Laurel Street. The reporting party went to check on subject, lips are blue, refusing help.
1:42 p.m. — Officer requesting ambulance for mental health evaluation for the Laurel Street welfare check.
2:01 p.m. — Vehicle stopped, South Street; warning for improper license plate display.
2:30 p.m. — Medical emergency, Essex Street. Life assist called in by Athol Fire Department.
