NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a privately-held, family-operated discount retail chain with 137 stores in New England, New York, and New Jersey announced its ‘Choose-Give-Get’ donation program to benefit those in need throughout the region. Customers are invited to ‘choose’ a cause, ‘give’ to that cause, and ‘get’ their donation back in the form of an OSJL Crazy Deal Gift Card.
Beginning Thursday, May 30, any customer who chooses to donate $10 or more (in increments of $10) to one of eight causes supported through the OSJL Charitable Foundation, will receive their donated amount back in a Crazy Deal Gift Card. Customers can choose from the following causes: feed the hungry, help the homeless, assist veterans and military families, aid animal rescue, care for children, advance healthcare, support the arts or promote learning.
“Last year’s ‘Choose-Give-Get’ program was an overwhelming success, and provided non-profits throughout the Northeast with much-needed funding,” said David Sarlitto, Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation Executive Director. “The OSJL Charitable Foundation has zero overhead because Ocean State Job Lot covers all foundation expenses — 100 percent of each customer donation goes to the cause they choose. Providing a Crazy Deal Gift Card equal to the amount of each donation is Job Lot’s way of thanking our customers for their generosity.”
