The U.S. Mint will debut the 2019 Youth Coin and Currency Set on Oct. 31. This set will include the five America the Beautiful National Park quarters for 2019 struck at the San Francisco mint in proof finish, plus a current two dollar bill.

The triple-fold packaging will feature the mint’s cartoon characters, plus information about the coins. This is sold for a high multiple of the face value of the money within it.

There will be a large stamp show on Oct. 26-27 at the Regency Hotel on Route 111 in Boxboro (first exit south of Route 2). Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, with free admission and off-street parking.

This is a major stamp show, including competitive displays, and a U.S. Postal Service sales booth for current stamp issues.

A coin show will be held on Oct. 27 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Devens (Exit off Route 2) from 9 a.m.t o 2 p.m. Off-street parking is free, but there is an admission charge.

The U.S. Postal Service will issue four stamps on Oct. 25 depicting holiday wreaths. The first class forever rate self-adhesives will be issued in a double-sided pane of 20 stamps. The L.L. Bean store in Freeport, Maine will be the official first day site for this issue.
