The U.S. Mint will begin taking orders for the five-ounce silver version of the Frank Church River of No Return National Park coin on Nov. 14. This coin will be sold at a significant premium over its bullion value.

A sports card and coin show will be held on Nov. 10 at the Boys and Girls Club of Chicopee at 580 Meadow St. Hours are 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Off-street parking is free, but there is a small admission charge. Door prizes are awarded every hour at this show.
The coin show normally held on the second Sunday of the month in Auburn will resume in December.
Rietta Flea market closed for the season on Nov. 3 and will reopen in early April. The Grafton Flea market on Route 140 in that town is still open as an outdoor-indoor event until mid-December.
The annual postcard show held in Barre on Nov. 2 was successful, even though it had the fewest number of dealers (twelve) in recent memory.
All of the dealers this writer spoke with said that they did well with sales.
Plenty of collectors attended the show, with the buyers appearing to concentrate more on topical and greeting rather than view postcards. The next nearby postcard show will not be held until late April in Greenfield.
