5:37 a.m. — Traffic stop, North Main Street. Operator issued a citation for failure to stop at a red light.
8:25 a.m. — While on patrol, officer was approached by party who wanted to speak with an officer in regards to fraud, Hayden Street. In speaking with the reporting party, he stateed he was given a check that has since bounced and his bank is already aware of the matter. No money has been taken, but he was advised by the bank to have the incident on record. Same done. The party was also advised to monitor his credit score in case anything changes.
8:42 a.m. — Reporting party advises she would like to report an incident that occurred last Friday, Dexter Street. In speaking with the reporting party, she stated that her son has been having problems with a student. School Resource Officer was contacted and advised of the situation and will be further looking into the matter.
11:25 a.m. — Caller stating a residence is vacant and she believes that there is a cat that has been left inside, Oxbow Road. She advised that she has left messages for the ACO in regards to the matter. The ACO was contacted and advised that she was en route to look into the matter. She advised she has also spoken with the Board of Health as there is trash and feces inside the home.
11:58 a.m. — Officer on a detail advising they were drilling and hit something, South Main Street. Requesting Orange Highway, Superintendent will be en route.
3:29 p.m. — Walk-in to the station for a possible brush fire, West River Street. Fire Department units on scene requesting PD to the scene. Under control, PD can stand down.
2:57 a.m. — Caller states he wants party removed from his apartment, Cheney Street. Reporting party denies any alcohol consumption this evening. Caller hung up on further questioning. Upon arrival, spoke with involved parties. It was found female party was invited over by the other tenant and she was not causing any issues. Reporting party was advised she has permission to be there and officers cannot remove her from the apartment.
7:49 a.m. — Reporting party advises her neighbor was threatening them and throwing things over their fence, West Myrtle Street. Reporting party advises she had to bring her dog inside. Situation mediated.
8:18 a.m. — Lockout, Goddard Court. Entry gained.
12:04 p.m. — Welfare check on subject as she hasn’t been showing up to school per the Athol School Resource Officer, Royalston Road. On arrival, subject wasn’t found to be home as she went with her grandparents. The family was advised to contact Athol schools.
1:41 p.m. — Caller reporting two males walking from a foreclosed property into the woods and back, Old South Road. The residence was checked and all was found secured.
2:13 p.m. — Reporting party states his wife is on life support and he would like her sister to be notified, South Main Street. Notification not made due to a permanent restraining order in place.
5:46 p.m. — Reporting party advises her husband is outside banging on her door, Second Street. She advises he is refusing to leave and is currently sitting on the steps. Negative weapons. On arrival, both parties were spoken with and the situation was mediated. Male party agreed to go to a friend’s house for a few hours and let things calm down.
7:48 p.m. — Report of an odor of smoke in the building, Red Brook Lane. Good intent call.
9:24 p.m. — Reporting party states they received a call from a female stating her dad is posting self-harm statements on Facebook, Second Street. Reporting party would like a welfare check on party. Party transported to Athol Hospital.
6:12 a.m. — Party advises there are pieces of a broken bucket in the road, Daniel Shays Highway. All pieces picked up.
10:30 a.m. — Party reports that his girlfriend left last night and withdrew $1,400 from his Emerald Card, which his tax returns were on, East River Street. Female party freely admitted to withdrawing the money and stated that he gave her the PIN. Reporting party advised of options.
2:00 p.m. — Reporting party states his ex has property of his and is requesting options on getting same back, East River Street. Spoke with the other party who agreed to return the Mac Book Pro.
2:10 p.m. — Caller reports a wire down from the pole to his house, Lake Mattawa Road. On arrival, it was found to be a cable wire that was hanging low. Spectrum notified.
3:11 p.m. — Caller reports party has run away from the Star Program in Greenfield. Party was located at the library with his mother, East Main Street. DCF was contacted and arrangements were made to pick party up. Officers stood by until a DCF worker arrived. Advised to call if there were any issues transporting him.
4:31 p.m. — Reporting party advised he received a call a couple of minutes ago from his daughter and she told him to call the police due to a disturbance involving her and her husband, Goddard Court. Upon arrival, the couple was having a verbal argument. Female party decided to leave and stay at her father’s house for the night.
