WARWICK — The last day to obtain nomination papers for Warwick’s May 18 annual town election is Friday, March 27, and they must be returned to the town clerk by Monday, March 30.
Contact Town Clerk Jeanette Fellows at 978-544-8304 for nomination paperwork. Depending on the status of the COVID-19 public health crisis in May, Town Coordinator David Young said Warwick will likely have shortened in-person voting and encourage mail-in voting.
Offices up for election on May 18 include:
■Selectboard member with a three-year term;
■assessor with a three-year term;
■Board of Health member with a three-year term;
■cemetery commissioner with a three-year term;
■constable, with a three-year term;
■two library trustee positions, both with three-year terms, and another position with a one-year term;
■moderator with a one-year term
■town clerk with a three-year term;
■Transfer Station commissioner with a three-year term;
■and highway commissioner with a one-year term, another seat with a two-year term and a third seat with a three-year term.
