The U.S. Mint was scheduled to debut the next National Park quarter (Weir Farm in Connecticut) on April 9, but this has been postponed due to the inability to hold a first day ceremony because of the COVID-19 situation.
No shows are functioning due to the current health emergency requirement barring groups of more than 10 people from meeting.
The United Nations Postal Administration issued six souvenir sheets on March 19 with the theme “Hello Global Goals.” The stamps are blank, other than the inscription “UN” in the upper left corner, the denomination in the upper right corner, and the date of issue at the lower right.
Each sheet has one stamp, but comes with fifteen different stickers that can be placed on the stamp. These stickers all have characters and elements from the “Hello Kitty” cartoons. The New York office sheets are for $1.20 each, the Geneva ones are two Swiss francs, and the Vienna sheets are 1.80 euros each.
To order these online, visit the UNPA website at unpanyinquiries@un.org, or call 1 – 800 – 234 – 8672.
