ORANGE — Two people were taken to hospitals Sunday afternoon after the motorcycle they were on crashed in front of 285 Main St.
Orange Fire Chief James Young said an emergency call came in at 1:30 p.m. and one of the riders was transported to Athol Hospital while the other was airlifted with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Young, who was not at the scene, said the Fire Department’s report states both riders were wearing helmets. He did not know the status of the patients as of Monday morning.
Young said the scene was cleared at 2:33 p.m. His department and the Orange Police Department responded.
