WINCHENDON — Starting on Monday, June 29, and running until Aug. 28, the Beals Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Club will embark on a journey of fantasy, adventure, and fun with this year’s summer reading program, “Imagine Your Story.” Featuring video programs, at-home activities, and outdoor challenges to accommodate social distancing, the library will be kicking things off with Sir Hardcover’s Quest, a week-long scavenger hunt.
The Summer Reading Club is free and open to participants of all ages. To join, sign up with Beanstack, a fun online service for tracking your reading, at bealslibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack app from the App Store or Google Play.

Marleen Billings, Administrative Assistant for the Mahar Regional School Special Education Department, announces, “The Special Education records of former Ralph C. Mahar Regional School students who graduated in 2013 or who withdrew during the SY 2012-2013, will be destroyed on Aug. 6.
Any former student who wishes to pick up his or her records can call the Special Education Office at 978-544-2535. Any records remaining after Aug. 5 will be destroyed the following day.”
