Local residents named to Simmons Dean’s List

BOSTON — The following local residents were named to the 2020 spring semester dean’s list at Simmons University in Boston.

■Haley Jean, New Salem

■Tanya Valley, Phillipston

To qualify for dean’s list status, undergraduate students must obtain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, based on 12 or more credit hours of work in classes using the letter grade system.

Ninteau named to Brandeis Dean’s List

Kacy Ninteau made the Dean’s List at Brandeis University for her junior year. She is the daughter of Jill and Steve Ninteau of Orange, and the granddaughter of Patricia Pipczynski of Hadley.

Temple named to Union College Dean’s List

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Alexandra Temple of New Salem was named to the 2020 Dean;s List at Union College.

Temple is a member of the Class of 2020 majoring in Biochemistry.

The Union College Dean’s List honors students who have a grade point average of 3.5 for the entire academic year and meet certain other requirements.
