NEW SALEM — The New Salem Public Library will host singer and storyteller Mary Jo Maichack as Mother Goose in a Vimeo recording that will be launched Dec. 14 and will be available for four weeks.

“Mother Goose” is a show of songs, movement, small puppets and rhymes, celebrating the classic nursery rhymes in a participatory style. This interactive family program is recommended for children ages 6 and under.

Maichack, in her 30 years of experience, has won two national awards for her storytelling CDs. She sings, plays ukulele, and tells stories and rhymes in a dynamic style.
