WINCHENDON — If you’re looking to add some new leafy friends to your home or garden this spring, then look no further than the Beals Memorial Library in Winchendon. In addition to their regular book sale, the Friends of the Library will be holding a three-day plant sale during the last week of May to help raise funds for future library programs and events.
Starting on Thursday, May 27, from 4 to 6 p.m., the book and plant sale will also be held the following day, Friday, May 28, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as Saturday, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A large selection of plants and used books will be available for sale during this event at great, low prices. Prior to the start of this sale, the library will be accepting donations of plants and books to be sold during the fundraiser.
The sale is by appointment only and masks and social distancing are required. So if you’d like to brighten up your home with a little more greenery or are looking for a great deal on some used books, contact the library and make an appointment during this special three-day sale event.
