WINCHENDON — End-of-life decisions can be stressful, but making clear plans can help reduce that stress. On Saturday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m., the Beals Memorial Library in Winchendon will be hosting “Planning for the End,” a workshop for those who are in need of exploring their options when it comes to making end-of-life arrangements for themselves or their loved ones.

Join the library and guest presenters, Barbara Richardson and Brooke Coleman, for a special, two-hour workshop centered around organizing, planning, and preparing for the end. Different options for health care directives and after-death options, such as funeral homes and green burials, will be discussed. Through open conversations and sharing alternative options, Barbara and Brooke hope to help make discussions about death and dying less uncomfortable for those who are or will be caring for the deceased.

This program is free and open to the public. Space is limited, so sign-ups are required.

The Beals Memorial Library is located at 50 Pleasant St. in Winchendon. For more information or to sign up for this workshop, call the library at 978-297-0300 or email at bealsmemoriallibrary@gmail.com
