ROYALSTON — On Sunday, April 10, at 2 p.m,. muralist and painter Sonja Vaccari will assist people in a painting class at the Royalston Town Hall. Participants will be able to choose from several displays to paint or create their own visual utilizing gouache, a water-based paint more opaque than watercolors but less than acrylics. Gouache is good for beginners as well as more experienced painters.
This is a casual, enjoyable afternoon of painting with light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Phinehas S. Newton Library. The class size is limited and you must register by stopping by or calling the Phinehas S. Newton Library at 978-249-3572 or emailing the Library at royalstonlibrary@gmail.com. There is a $10 materials fee.
