ATHOL — The Athol Public Library is hosting its first ever Tiny Art Show. The library, at 568 Main St., will be showcasing miniature pieces of art from artists all over the community.

Any and all creators are invited to participate, no matter skill level or age. Community members are invited to create a piece of art that is 4-by-4 inches. All mediums are welcome including paint, pencils, pen, needlework, sculpture, mixed media, etc.

Artists are welcome to use materials and supplies from home to create their pieces. The library also has a limited number of supply kits available. Interested participants can call the library or sign up online through the library’s calendar to request one of the free kits, while supplies last.

Not sure what to create? Library staff suggest starting with the theme “Spring is here.”

Submissions to the show will be accepted at the library through April 15. Submitted pieces will be on display for public viewing on the second floor of the library from April 19 through May 21 during library hours.
