ATHOL — River Rat Race Chair Jeannette McIntosh said in a press release, “If you waited until now, it’s time to sign up for the 57th running of the Athol to Orange River Rat Race.”
You may sign up in person at Elsewhere, 1485 Main St., Athol, until 8 p.m today. Or you may sign up online at www.riverratrace.com
Entry fee is $42 per team.
For this nominal fee you will be given a pair of starting numbers, a pair of shirts, and a chance at the 50/50 drawing. The last team pulled for a position on Friday night at the Post Position Drawing at the Athol Town Hall at 7 p.m., will win the 50/50 money.
Not to mention all the fun and memories you will have for participating in this annual rite of Spring in the North Quabbin area.
