ATHOL — This May, why not try your hand at gardening? asks the staff at the Athol Public Library. They can help get you started with a Garden Bundle of books.
These bundles include up to three books on the gardening topic of your choice. So, grab your gloves, get outside, and use those green thumbs. Each bundle will include a seed packet to start your garden, generously provided by the Greenfield Farmers Cooperative Exchange in Greenfield.
All those who request a bundle will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a garden-themed prize funded by the Friends of the Athol Public Library.
To get one, just fill out a quick Google form to request what you would like. Go to athollibrary.org to access the form at any time from the Garden Bundles Banner at the top of the web page. They’ll gather your materials together and give you a call when they are ready to be picked up.
Garden Bundles must be picked up during the library’s open hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
