ORANGE — The concert season will begin Friday, June 24, at 7 p.m., and will continue through the Fridays of July. Concerts will be held in Butterfield Park on the bandstand. Families are invited to bring blankets or chairs and gather around the bandstand.
WINCHENDON — There will be a food truck festival featuring battle of the bands, crafters and artists in GAR Park, Winchendon, on Friday, June 24, from 5 to 9 p.m.
June 25: Royalston Chicken BBQ
ROYALSTON — The Royalston Fire and EMS Association will hold a Chicken BBQ at 5 p.m. at the Royalston Fire Department, 4 Athol Road, Royalston. $20 for adult; $12, kids (under 12). Tickets can be purchased through Association members or at the BBQ.
ORANGE — The Orange Solstice Riverfest begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, with family activities, vendors, food, music and a lighted boat parade at 9 p.m. Sponsored by the Orange Lions Club.
ATHOL — Athol Fire Chief Joseph Guarnera and the Athol Fire Department will be joined by State Sen. Anne Gobi, State Rep. Susannah Whipps, Athol Town Manager Shaun Suhoski, and the Athol Board of Selectmen for Athol’s Fire Department’s Firefighter Memorial on Sunday, June 26, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., 2251 Main St.
