ATHOL — Save some of the garden harvest by learning how to make easy refrigerator pickles at “Pickling the Harvest,” Thursday, Sept. 22, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Athol Public Library, 568 Main St. Participants will sample a variety of pickled vegetables including mustard cucumbers, pickled cauliflower, and watermelon rind pickles. Participants will then make their own jars of pickles to take home to enjoy.

This program is made possible in part by the Institute of Museums and Library Services through an LSTA Dig In Grant from the MBLC.

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop-offs will not be permitted.
