9:06 a.m. – Crescent Street caller reported that someone in a white Rav 4 had just dropped off a dog in front of his residence and then left the scene. At 9:12 a.m., Police followed up on an 911 “open line” call. On call back, reporting party stated that the vehicle was back on scene and demanding the dog back. Both parties then engaged in a verbal disagreement. Police spoke with the dog owner who stated he was frustrated and that is why he had just dropped the dog off outside.
9:25 a.m. – Main Street caller requested a welfare check on a male party that had been asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot since 7 a.m. Police found that the male party was all set and just resting before his ride home.
12:54 p.m. – Daniel Shays Highway caller reported that a female at the nursing home was refusing to leave and had possibly assaulted her ex-husband while visiting. Staff on scene with the female were calming her down. Officer spoke with the male party who stated nothing physical had taken place and he was not abused. Male party stated he was fine and did not want to report anything to the police.
6:45 p.m. – Main Street traffic stop resulted in the party being given a citation for no inspection, defective brake light and not changing her address with the RMV. Once the driver left, she almost caused a crash resulting in a second traffic stop. She was issued another citation for unsafe lane change.
8 p.m. – Main Street caller requested officers to ensure that an unwanted party was not there. Female primary care person had left for the night, but will come back the following day at some point to get her property. Reporting party was sent to AMH for evaluation and was advised to go to court to get a Restraining Order.
7:34 a.m. – Main Street area caller reported that his daughter was supposed to be in school at the YMCA. But when he arrived she was not there. Reporting party stated she should have been with his ex-wife, who he had witnessed drive by the YMCA. Reporting party was concerned for his child. Police advised them to contact Probate Court as it was a civil matter.
7:52 a.m. – Exchange Street caller reported someone had broken into his vehicle the previous night. They reported that his headboard was damaged and a radio was stolen.
9:39 a.m. – Station lobby walk-in sought assistance in getting a person’s property removed from the residence. Reporting party stated there were no orders in effect at that time. Advised of options.
1:24 p.m. – Sanders Street FedEx driver requested Animal Control Officer’s assistance with two dogs in his possession that were running down the road. ACO and another officer headed off to the address in an attempt to return the two dogs.
1:31 a.m. – Police assistance was requested to Main Street. Reporting party stated that an unwanted, apparently intoxicated female had showed up to his residence and was refusing to leave.
4:43 a.m. – Main Street caller stated his friend was intoxicated and had come into his room and passed out. Unresponsive. Transported to the hospital
9:40 a.m. – Templeton Road Assistant Manager reported that someone had attempted to pay with a fake $100 bill. Reporting party stated he tried to keep the money but the male party took it back and took off from the scene in a black truck. Reporting party will check the cameras for more information.
10:37 a.m. – Caller from Silver Lake Beach area reported a bicycle that had been left at the gate of the cemetery, and that he had noticed the bike in the same spot two days ago.
11:40 a.m. – 911 call from Riverbend Street where caller reported that he had backed into an individual on a moped, and that the moped operator had a large gash on his leg. Transported to the hospital.
1:55 p.m. – Police responded to a disturbance call at Pleasant Street where it was reported that some form of verbal disturbance was going on downstairs. Reporting party had heard one male state he was going to grab a bat. Reporting party was concerned for everyone’s safety.
2:07 p.m. – Officer assisted with traffic control for first day of school traffic.
6:41 p.m. – Patrol officer reported a call he received about a possible fight that would be happening in the Main Street area. Altercation between two parties. Male party was advised of his court options.
6:49 p.m. – Freedom Street caller reported an erratic driver speeding around the parking lot and cutting cars off. Owner advised of the complaint.
8:57 p.m. – School Street traffic stop, verbal warning for defective exhaust.
