Athol-Orange Community Television (AOTV) was just one of several locations where regional nonprofit organizations received helping hands to do needed projects, according to a press release.

Individual volunteers, as well as employees from local organizations including Heywood Hospital and Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, helped for four hours during the United Way Day of Caring, which was held on Friday, Sept. 16. The “to-do” list included exterior painting, reorganizing a garage, and folding promotional materials for the up-coming AOTV annual auction in December.
