Malabar , FL – Judith Ames, a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Palm Bay, Florida, at the age of 74. Born on July 30, 1951, in Athol, Massachusetts, Judith dedicated her life to caring for others. She was most proud of her extraordinary commitment to foster care, providing a loving home for 28 children over 12 years. An avid and passionate family member, she cherished time spent with her cousins, aunts, and uncles. Her greatest joy was simply watching her grandsons play and have fun.
Judith is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Ames; her two loving sons, Shon Ames and Jamie Ames, and his wife Dina Ames; her adored grandsons, Ethan Ames and Evan Ames; and her three siblings, Gina Hall, Danny Vinsant, and Nita Rice.
She was proceeded by her mother Lucille Pratt, brother Ronald Vinsant, and sister Fonnie Hannah.
There will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be given to St Judes children’s hospital.
