Tuesday, Jan. 20

9:09 a.m. Caller asked to speak to an officer about the process for getting an automobile that does not belong to her off her property. They were advised of tow options.

9:58 a.m. Caller reporting a lumber truck is stuck in the middle of Batchelder Road and appears unable to turn into their destination. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

2:35 p.m. Party in the lobby to ask an officer to look at some damage to their windshield to see if they should file a report. Party does not believe the damage was done here and does not live in town, just looking for advice. The vehicle has a very small crack in the bottom center of the windshield. The impact site resembles damage that could be done by a rock kicked up from another vehicle. 

Wednesday, Jan. 21

8:51 a.m. Report of a female asking for rides on Brookside Road. In the past, this person has become aggressive when spoken to, so caller would like an officer to tell her to move along.

12:15 p.m. Party into the station to report a possible scam. They said someone called, claiming they won a Publisher’s Clearing House prize of $7 million. Stated they needed to pay money for taxes etc. No money was lost. Wanted on record so police would be aware of scam.

Thursday, Jan. 22

10:32 a.m. A two-vehicle crash on Main Street was reported. A Rav 4 backed into a BMW.

12:32 p.m. A party came into station to report his exhaust was stolen. Reporting party stated he left his truck in his driveway since last evening and when he started his truck this morning he noticed it was obnoxiously loud. Reporting party stated he looked under his truck and noticed his catalytic converter   was cut off.  

Friday, Jan. 23

8:05 a.m. A walk-in to the station reported a white SUV parked on the road stopping DPW from being able to remove snow on Lyons Hill Road. The owner was spoken to and advised to move their vehicle. The party was advised of the parking ban and to move their vehicle before weekend snowstorm.  

10:06 a.m. Party called to report seeing a male following a female off the Route 2 ramp and stopping in the Subway parking lot. Possible confrontation outside the shop. Officer spoke with both parties who stated a male party in separate vehicle had confronted them because they slowed down on Route 2 due to missing their exit. Party had taken off and there were no longer any present issues.

10:16 a.m. Party reports his catalytic converter has been stolen.
