A huge thank you to The Textile Company, Foster’s Supermarket, Greenfield Farmer’s Exchange, and Richardson’s Candy Kitchen. All of these businesses, and so many others, continually support local organizations and community events. Recently I had the pleasure of their support with a fundraiser raffle for Second Congregational Church of Greenfield. The Textile generously offered to display the beautiful handcrafted quilt being raffled as well as help with ticket sales. Both the Farmer’s Exchange and Foster’s welcomed me to set up a table to sell tickets at their locations. Richardson’s Candy Kitchen generously donated a box of their delicious chocolates to serve as a second prize for the raffle.

It was a complete pleasure to spend time and interact with owners/managers, employees, and patrons at all of these local businesses. Thank you to everyone who helped sell tickets and all who bought raffle tickets. I wish you all the best of luck and wish you could all win! You are all winners in my mind, as you have supported others in the community by supporting our variety of local ministries and missions. Of course, immense gratitude is extended to Carol Barnes and Marjorie Reid for sharing their talent, time, and resources to make this all possible. I look forward to calling the lucky winners soon. The drawing is Saturday, Feb. 14!
