12:40 a.m. Motor vehicle stop on Main Street. Operator was given a warning for a defective windshield, no inspection sticker and defective plate lights.
7:28 a.m. Police took a report of catalytic converters stolen from buses.
12:55 p.m. Police were called about a large piece of ice on the utility wires on Central Street. The ice was removed.
Saturday, Feb. 7
10:05 a.m. A carbon monoxide alarm on Main Street was reported.
1:05 p.m. Caller reporting the storm drain on Cottage Street directly across from their residence is covered in snow and water is beginning to pool in the area. The Water Department was advised.
Tuesday, Feb. 10
8:33 a.m. Resident of Wallingford Avenue called to report the upstairs tenant keeps entering his
apartment to turn on the heat. Caller stated neighbors are stealing other tenants’ power with extensions cords and heating the building with constant dryer running. Building Department and Board of Health contacted.
11:05 a.m. Party in lobby stating her bank account was hacked. Party advised of next steps, they are not out any money.
1:38 p.m. Report of a large box or F350 truck parked at the stop sign in the cross walk on Hillside Terrace. This is making it difficult for cars to see the flow of traffic when at the sign.
2:12 p.m. Party calling about someone taking money from her account via an ATM.
Wednesday, Feb. 11
4:20 a.m. Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle striking a fire hydrant. No injuries, no airbags. The vehicle encountered slick road condition, causing the operator to lose steering control.
6:15 a.m. Police were called about a vehicle crash on Marble Street. The reporting party states a plow backed into their vehicle.
9:14 a.m. Subject into the station to report identity fraud.
12:49 p.m. Caller is reporting a vehicle that has been parked on Church Street for the past three days.
2:08 p.m. Subject into the station to request an officer look at his car and see if it can be driven following a motor vehicle accident that morning.
Thursday, Feb. 12
3:02 a.m. Party is locked out of the YMCA because they dropped their keys. An officer responded, but the key did not work and they were transported to the warming center.
9:57 a.m. A party walked into the lobby to report a stolen license. States their license was taken on Tuesday at the doctor’s office and never returned. An officer spoke with the office. They stated that they have searched everywhere and was not able to find it. They will contact the reporting party if it is located.
