Athol is a town that has made excellent progress year after year over the past decade. Continuing that progress requires leaders who care, who listen to the ideas and needs of our citizens and businesses, and who work collaboratively to get needed results for its citizens and businesses. Margot Parrot is that kind of leader.

Please vote for Margot Parrot for Selectboard on April 6.

I have known Margot for 14 years, and I know she leads with both strength and compassion. She is committed to ensuring that rural communities receive their fair share of investment from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is fiscally responsible, deeply connected to the needs and priorities of residents, and treats every individual with kindness and respect.

Nearly 13 years ago, Margot chose Athol and the North Quabbin region as her home. She is a local artist, a hardworking farmer, an elder law attorney and professor, and a former chair and key leader of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. She is also a champion for equality and a dedicated advocate for veterans, seniors, and children.

I am confident that, if elected, Margot will work collaboratively — with heart, intelligence, and determination — to keep Athol a healthy, growing community where individuals, families, and businesses can thrive.
