Orange has an opportunity to again elect leaders who will work to ensure that Orange makes the needed progress to once again thrive. Orange is in a defining moment. A moment that needs to build on its beauty and its strengths. We must together seize every opportunity to make needed progress for The Friendly Town.

I believe the two most important goals for our selectboard are: 1) to become a high-performance team that models respect, teamwork, citizen engagement and excellent leadership and management, and 2) to implement the charter to advance the needed structure, role definitions, management and culture of town government.

In the March election the citizens voted for change and progress in electing Kelli Bixby Gervais and Jeff Anderson. I believe that if citizens elect Alexander Schwanz and me, they will have a team made up of Julie Davis, Bixby, Anderson, Schwanz and myself that will not only deliver on the two above-mentioned priorities, but will do this and much more.

This team will bring the energy, experience, professionalism and compassion our town needs and deserves. With talent and dedication, the team will work with citizens, stakeholders and investors to advance our beloved Orange. Orange again will be a town that is vibrant and prosperous, where individuals and businesses thrive.

We have a critical election on Monday, May 4. The individuals we vote for to lead and manage in this defining moment will define the next decade of progress for Orange. Please join me in voting to elect to the Selectboard: Alexander Schwanz for the 22-month seat
and Denise Andrews for the 10-month seat.
