9:10 a.m. A party walked into the lobby with questions about having his girlfriend’s brother removed from his residence. An officer spoke with the party about the civil process.

10:40 a.m. A medical alarm company is requesting an ambulance for an adult who has fallen and is still on the ground, unknown injuries on Gibson Drive.

10:57 a.m. A party at the bank looking to file a police report on a party who submitted falsified paperwork on documents for a loan.  

Monday, May 4

9:12 a.m. A bear was reported in the area of Pleasant Street. The elementary school was notified.

12:27 p.m. A caller believed someone is hacking their phone. The officer advised them of their options.

12:45 p.m. A party went to the station to speak to an officer about a housemate that has stolen her credit card.

12:57 p.m. Police were called about a transformer in the area of Bearsden Road that had blown. National Grid was advised.

Tuesday, May 5

8:41 a.m. Two individuals went to the station to speak to an officer about being given a plow this morning and then the owner posting on Facebook that they stole it.

9:16 a.m. A caller reported their son’s and husband’s vehicles that had been parked on Lumber Street had been broken into on the overnight. The doors where unlocked.

9:51 a.m. A caller reported that someone broke into their vehicle that was parked on North Orange Road last night and also stole mail and a package from their mailbox.

2:43 p.m. A small brush fire was reported in the area of Market Drive.

Wednesday, May 6

7:16 a.m. A female party reported that she saw on Facebook that a party is making threats to a cat. She stated that the subject posted on Facebook regarding a random cat that was coming onto his property disturbing his chickens. States he said for the owner to keep their cat in before it didn’t return again. Stated she was concerned regarding the welfare of the cat. The animal control officer was advised.

9:42 a.m. A property manager stated a car is parked in front of the South Street property and believes a person is living in the car. Police spoke to the party, no issues found.

10:09 a.m. Caller reports that the two front tires of her rental vehicle were slashed last night.

Thursday, May 7

12:19 p.m. A party walked into the station to report that someone has attempted to steal their identity by hacking into their computer and phones.

1:49 p.m. Caller reports an issue with neighbors trespassing on their property.

Sunday, May 10

10:33 a.m. Caller reporting he is at Silver Lake Beach and the other day noticed at the storage shed used by the lifeguards, there is paper stuffed under it that appears to have been set on fire. Did not see it the day before yesterday. An officer removed papers, there was no obvious attempt to burn them where they were located.  

12:23 p.m. Caller reported their purse had been stolen from their vehicle.

Monday, May 11

7:38 a.m. Party would like to speak to an officer for a bag of white powder that they found and would like to know what it is. He did make contact with the substance, refused an ambulance.

9:33 a.m. The manager of an apartment building would like to speak to an officer about someone sleeping/urinating in front of their building each night. The reporting party was advised of their options.

Tuesday, May 12

12:22 p.m. A caller reported a disabled truck that was taking up an entire lane of travel on Silver Lake Street.

12:34 p.m. A party came into the station to speak to an officer about issues next door to his residence.

Wednesday, May 13

9:33 a.m. Party would like to report that his house was robbed a couple days ago. States his blue mountain bike with flat tires and jump rope were taken a few days ago from the basement and a day or two later his plastic watch was missing. He will speak with the landlord to see if he took the bike. 

11:13 a.m. Caller reporting numerous cars parked in the handicap spots in front of a store on Tower Road. Caller reported they are handicapped and there were no spots available.
