How wonderful to read of Orange’s plans to place a solar farm atop its capped landfill. (“Town receives five proposals for solar array,” July 22) How refreshing to see a site selected for energy production that does not involve chopping down intact forest. How smart, how efficient, how… appropriate!
Let’s see more of this sort of thing. Save our open space for all the creatures that depend on it, including people.
