Athol, MA – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Anita Paulin-Pinard on July 20, 2026. Born on 03/03/1937 in Athol, Massachusetts to parents Jochim and Georgine Paulin, Anita was a beloved pillar of the community who devoted her life to caring for others. Known for her unwavering strength and kind spirit, Anita spent her professional years as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Athol Hospital and the former East Gardner State Hospital. Her empathetic nature and professional expertise left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Anita was also a gifted seamstress with a flair for crafting. She channeled her creativity and precision into her own business, stitching together not just fabrics, but also countless memories for her cherished customers. In addition to her sewing, Anita displayed her craftsmanship through her remarkable skill at caning chairs, a testament to her dexterity and attention to detail. These endeavors served as a testament to her resourceful spirit, and her creations, much like Anita herself, were woven with love and care.
Anita’s memory will be lovingly carried on by her children, Patricia Ann Puffer and her husband Brian Walbeck, Gregory Daniel Parker and his signifcant other Michelle Herman, Carl Victor Parker and his wife Cynthia, Craig Jeffrey Parker and his wife Irle, and Donald Irvin Parker, Jr, and his wife Diane, and 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandson, and her brothers and sisters, Clarence Paulin, Mark Paulin, Norma Paulin, and Georgine Paulin. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Pinard, parents, Jochim and Georgine Paulin, her brother, Fernand Paulin, and her sister, Yvette Conquest. Anita’s life was a symphony of kindness, compassion, and creativity. Her impact extended beyond the boundaries of her family to the many lives she touched and enriched during her lifetime.

A private graveside service will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Winchester, NH.
