ORANGE, MA – Valerie D. (Noyes) Matusevich, 65, of East River Street, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Athol on December 29, 1960, she was the daughter of Merrill and Virginia (Fox) Noyes and grew up in Wendell, graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School with the Class of 1978.
On September 5, 1987, Valerie married John Matusevich and they enjoyed 38 years together.
Valerie worked at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol from 1979 until 2025, working in the Food Services Department.
Valerie loved the outdoors, especially the ocean. She was devoted to her family and found much enjoyment spending time with them.
Survivors include her husband John Matusevich of Orange; a daughter, Laura Dunn and her husband Ryan, and their children Ryleigh Dunn and Cole Dunn, of Royalston; several loving nephews and nieces; sisters in law, Linda Bradley of Ware and Maria Newell and her husband Ricky of Barre.
Besides her parents, Valerie was predeceased by sisters Cheryl Fisher and Sandra Murphy.
There are no calling hours.
Services and interment at South Cemetery in Orange are private.
