NEW SALEM — Author and Swift River School art teacher Emily Neuburger will conduct a free Story Stones workshop at the New Salem Public Library on Tuesday, April 23 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Neuburger will guide students as they use their imaginations (and craft materials) to turn stones into captivating storytelling stones. Neuburger has published a book, “Show Me A Story,” on creative art projects for children.
Open to children ages 8 and up. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of New Salem Library. Swift River students who bring a note to school may take the bus to the library.
