WINCHENDON – The Winchendon History and Cultural Center held its annual Holiday House Tour over the weekend. The historic Murdock-Whitney House, the Isaac Morse House, and the Old Center Church were all decked out with trees decorated by volunteers from around the community.
The basement of the church held about a dozen holiday-themed place settings. Proceeds from the event go to support the WHCC.

Among those who spent time decorating the trees and rooms in the historic homes were History and Cultural Center President Don O’Neil, Tracy Pelkey, Jen Niejadlik, John and Gaynor Goan, Dr. John Harrington, Fay Wheeler, Jenelle Sroczynski and Karen Veillieux, Susie Antonellis, Tighe and Lori Matthieu.
Place settings were provided by O’Neil, Sue Hunt, Peg and Guy Corbosiero, Jenelle Sroczynski, Lisa Musgrove, Melissa Blanchard, Brittany Ellis, Pete Antonellis, Nicole Roberts and Michele Comeau.
O’Neil has been organizing the house tours since 2007. Prior to that time, the event was held only sporadically. The table settings were added in 2016.
