Allyson Parker, a 2016 graduate of Mahar Regional, completed her junior season last Friday for the Providence College field hockey team.
The Friars (11-8) lost in the Big East Conference semifinals to No. 15 Liberty, 4-0.
Parker had six goals and five assists during her junior season, both career highs. She scored four game-winners for the Friars.
The game-winners came against Brown, Bryant, LIU Brooklyn and Big East foe Temple. The goal against the Owls came at home with under four minutes to play.
After the game-winner against Temple, Parker made the Big East weekly honor role for the second time during the season.
Parker is majoring in accountancy and made the NFHCA Division I National Academic squad as a freshman and a sophomore.
McKenzie Tenney (Mahar), Fitchburg State — Tenney played in 16 games with seven starts for the Falcons during her sophomore season.
Fitchburg went 3-12-1 with Tenney scoring a goal in a 6-3 loss to Curry College.
Tenney has seven career points at Fitchburg.
Julia Carey (Athol), Curry College — Carey played in 11 games with a start for the Colonels (8-9-2).
Carey is a sophomore defender at Curry College.
Justin Blake (Athol), Curry College — Blake played in nine games as a midfielder with one start for the Colonels (6-11-1) during his freshman season.
Colby Mason (Athol), Fitchburg State — Mason played in three games with two starts as the backup goalkeeper for the Falcons (5-11-1).
During his time in net, Mason made four saves with a 0.43 goals against average and a 0-1-1 record.
James Laford (Athol), Springfield College — Laford has appeared in one game for the Pride’s defense during his freshman year, which isn’t over yet.
Springfield went 14-4-1 and won the NEWMAC championship after a 1-0 win over Babson on Saturday.
Springfield plays Ramapo on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Division III championship.
Maeve Powell (Mahar), Colby-Sawyer — As a freshman, Powell played in nine matches for the Chargers (21-11).
Powell had a career-high five kills in a 3-0 win over Albertus Magnus.
Julia Ramos (Athol), Anna Maria — Ramos had 200 assists as a freshman setter for the Amcats (4-25).
Ramos had a season-high 18 assists in a 3-1 win over Castleton.
