8:45 a.m. — Report of past larceny, Eagleville Road. Under investigation.
10:17 a.m. — Officer stopped vehicle for revoked insurance, West River Street. Owner requested Dick’s Auto for the tow. Citation issued.
11:21 a.m. — Samsung phone found on sidewalk, West Main Street. Placed in lost and found.
12:05 p.m. — South Main Street party refused to give the nature of her call stating, “I don’t want to talk to five people.” When asked again, she said “forget about it,” and hung up.
1:18 p.m. — Meals on Wheels driver reporting no response at Beacon Street. Party advised she is all set; having lunch with sister.
1:44 p.m. — Disabled motor vehicle, South Main Street. Party states the brakes on 2000 Volvo seized and she is blocking traffic. Towed.
2 p.m. — Officer took report from East River Street female reporting subject was assaulted. A 51-A was filed with Dept. of Children and Families.
4:13 p.m. — Officer requested for Carpenter Street location for possible disturbance between subjects. Both units responded and spoke with parties. Found to be verbal argument and advised to separate until cooler heads prevail.
7:56 p.m. — Responded to disturbance at Carpenter Street residence. Party reports subject being verbally abusive toward her. Officer spoke to all parties involved. Subject to leave. Party advised of 209A options as well as a police escort when she returns home to make sure subject has left. 51A filed.
9:04 p.m. — Prospect Street caller advising subject is refusing to let him into his house where he rents a room. Second call from party stating subject is there intoxicated and keeps knocking on the door. States this is not his legal residence and that he lives in Athol. Officer spoke with subject who states he just wants his belongings. Officer advised party to take all his belongings outside so he can come pick it up. Done without incident.
2:20 a.m. — Medical emergency, Oak Drive.
9:46 a.m. — Medical emergency, Evergreen Drive.
10:58 a.m. — Medical emergency, Ward Road.
11 a.m. — Caller requested escort to Carpenter Street to pick up some property as there was an incident there last night and he has not left.
11:29 a.m. — North Main Street caller reporting someone has been dumping their trash in the property dumpster. Trash gone through and names found.
11:58 a.m. — Report of large pothole on Holtshire Road, caller blew out two tires on last night. Highway department will check on them.
1:59 p.m. — Assisted other agency. Hit and run involving vehicle. Officer requests Orange police contact Daniel Shays Highway party believed to be operator of vehicle. Requests police contact owner and have her contact Northampton Police. Possible damage to rear bumper and /or hatch. Same struck a parked vehicle at auto dealer. Found that party drives the car and she works at a car dealership in Northampton. Information passed along to investigating officer.
3:08 p.m. — Party reports boyfriend’s vehicle is disabled and parked on East Main Street in front of Subway. Believes the fuel pump may have gone on it and is trying to get someone with a trailer to pick it up. Checked area; gone on arrival.
3:31 p.m. — Motor vehicle lockout, East Main Street. Entry gained.
3:40 p.m. — Officer flagged down on East River Street by motorist who picked up a cell phone at the dog park.
4:14 p.m. — Officer out with a gray Nissan Murano with no plates, Water Street. Found dealer registration to be valid and operator was on a test drive. Instructions given about property plate attachment.
5:05 p.m. — Female in station asking for help regarding a rental car that has the wrong mileage recorded on the rental agreement sheet. Advised to contact the owner. Officer checked the odometer and confirmed the mistake on the paper.
6:20 p.m. — Officer flagged down on South Main Street. Party reported a verbal altercation. Upon arrival, the lot was vacant. No action required.
9:46 p.m. — Officer requested to remove party from Gibbs Court property. Female will not leave and is argumentative. Officers stood by until she left.
10:18 p.m. — Prospect Street caller reporting yelling and swearing, demanding subject be removed from his property. Officer spoke with subject who stated the reporting party is intoxicated and had already left.
11:11 p.m. — Route 2 caller following a small dark-colored vehicle that has a mattress on its roof says operator is swerving all over the road, driving into oncoming traffic. State police did not have a unit in the area. Erving/Gill officers in the area.
8:48 a.m. — Caller states Oxbow Road is glare ice. Highway superintendent advised.
11:17 a.m. — Sandrah Drive caller reporting oil leaking from oil tank in basement; about 20 gallons of oil on the floor and continuing to leak. At 11:27 a.m., command requests DEP be notified.
12:25 a.m. — Report of vehicle in parking lot with radio blaring, East River Street. Officers made contact with individuals sitting in the vehicle. The occupants were intoxicated and were advised they were not allowed to drive their vehicle. Occupants were allowed to go to a friend’s house and advised they could get the keys to their vehicle in the morning.
