The two-headed monster of Mikey Corduff and Gunnar Moore put together another stellar performance on Thursday.

Corduff fired a 1-over-par 36, and Moore also broke 40 with a 4-over 39 to help visiting Frontier capture a 21½-2½ victory over Mohawk Trail in a golf match played Thursday at Edge Hill Golf Course in Ashfield.

Frontier improved to 3-0 on the young season.

Corduff scored a birdie on the par 4 sixth hole, and was even-par until a bogey on the final hole of the day left him 1-over. He won all four points in his match at No. 1, defeating Mohawk Trail’s Ben Thompson, who shot 61.

At No. 2, Moore finished his round with a strong three-hole stretch. A birdie on No. 7 was followed by back-to-back pars, and he also won four points against Phineas Tuttman (56).

Logan Moore had the low round of the day for the host Warriors, shooting 52 out of the No. 3 spot. Gage Patenaude (60) won a point at No. 5 while Douglas Wilcox scored one-half point at No. 4 (62).

Frontier’s Rowan Blair was a four-point winner at No. 3 thanks to a round of 42. Aidan Roche (52), Shane Prusak (57) and Marcus Larsson (48) combined for 9½ points toward the team total.

Greenfield 16, FC Tech 8 – Ryan Cote swept all four points in his match at No. 1, helping host Greenfield get back into the win column behind a 16-8 victory over Franklin Tech in a match played Thursday at the Country Club of Greenfield.

Cote shot 43 for Greenfield (2-1), which was good enough for a share of medalist honors on the day. He took all four points against Tech’s Brady Booska, who carded a round of 57.

Franklin Tech’s Nate Sciandra also shot 43 to earn a share of medalist honors, and he also took four points in his match against Drew Conant at No. 5 for the visitors.

Greenfield’s Dylan Archer shot 44 and won three points at No. 2. Teammate Gabe Mota had a strong outing out of the No. 3 hole, where he shot 45 and took four points. Dan Provost also swept four points in the No. 6 slot, firing a round of 49. Conant (50) and Derek Lenois (54) rounded out the Green Wave golfers on Thursday.

Anthony Zager carded a round of 47 at No. 2 for the Eagles (1-2). Ryan Artus was a three-point winner at No. 4, where he shot 52.

Hopkins 203, Mahar 238 – Connor Asselin’s low round of 47 enabled Hopkins Academy to get past Mahar in a match played Thursday at Ellinwood Country Club.

Mahar’s Dylan Young was the leader in the clubhouse for his side with a 58. Both Andrew Finch and Cameron Doyle carded rounds of 59, and the final scorer on the day was Patric Gillespie with a 62.

Mahar 25, Hopkins 30 – Stephen Gaj put together another impressive run, and visiting Mahar made its way into the winner’s circle on Thursday.

Gaj was the first runner across the finish line, crossing with a time of 20 minutes, 35 seconds on the 3.1-mile course to help the Senators to a 25-30 victory over Hopkins Academy in Hadley. Mahar doesn’t have enough runners for a girls’ team, so the program is running as a co-ed entry.

Dan Kidwell was the next-fastest Mahar finisher, taking fourth overall with a time of 21:04, just ahead of teammate Jeff LaPlante (fifth, 21:10).

Hopkins’ Teddy Cyr was the runner-up in 20:42, and teammate Cade Lazafam nabbed third.

Rounding out the scorers for the Senators were Mike Gemelli (seventh, 23:15), Jeff Kidwell (eighth, 25:00), Kayley Murphy (11th, 26:00) and Aiden Drake (14th, 33:54).
