11:58 a.m. – Pleasant Street caller reported he had property stolen from the staircase that he left unattended for a few moments while going into his room.

1:14 p.m. – Caller from the Tower Road area stated a father was smacking and slapping his son in the face and shoving him around aggressively. Boy was screaming and crying. Police spoke to all parties involved. Father was trying to keep his disobedient 12-year-old in the vehicle because he was trying to run through the parking lot and into stores. Both father and son were verbally counseled.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

8:51 a.m. – A Brickyard Road caller requested a welfare check on a 70-year-old female tenant, who had not been heard from in several weeks, and was behind on condo fees. The property manager stated the front door was smashed. Police made entry through an unlocked door and found said female and contacted the Board of Health, AFD and Fire Inspector. Transported to hospital and elder affairs was contacted.

6:18 p.m. – Caller from Chestnut Hill Avenue area reported his ex-girlfriend had been repeatedly calling him and would like her to stop. Reporting party stated he had 163 missed calls from the ex-girlfriend from that day. Police called and left a message with ex-girlfriend. Also advised the reporting party of HPO (Harassment Protection Order) options through Orange District Court (ODC).

Wednesday, Sept. 21

1:06 p.m. – Highland Street caller reported he had a $5,000 piece of construction equipment stolen from his yard that morning. Under investigation.

3:36 p.m. – Two 911 calls from the Sanders Street area reported a male party trying to pull a female from a vehicle with a child inside. Verbal argument only and the parties were sent on their way.

5:35 p.m. – Caller from the North Orange Road area reported there was a track out by the neighbor’s house where they were racing motor vehicles that were loud and causing a toxic smell. Police spoke to all involved parties.

Monday, Sept. 26

11:08 a.m. – Chestnut Hill Avenue caller reported that vehicles at his work place had been broken into. Caller reported they had a camera shot of the suspect.

12:20 p.m. – Officer assisting with an aggressive student at Pleasant Street school

12:37 p.m. – Police investigated a report from the Pleasant Street area of an individual that had been staying in an apartment that she was not permitted to be in.
